Art Exhibit at Blue Ridge Mountain Arts

Visit Blue Ridge Mountain Arts on January 8, 2011 for an opening reception for talented photographer, Lisa Schnelinger and the first quarter artists-in-residence Don and Suzie Maier. The art exhibits feature Lisa Schnelinger’s Photographic Journey in Afghanistan and paintings by award winning artists, Don and Suzie Maier.

The reception is from 5 PM to 7 PM. It is free and open to the public. The Photographic Journey in Afghanistan will be on display during normal gallery hours from January 9, 2011 through February 18, 2011. Blue Ridge Mountain Photographers Meeting

Film negativesThe Blue Ridge Mountain Photographers (BRMP) would like to invite you to their November meeting on November 4, 2010 at 7 PM. They are excited to have the award winning nature photographer Charles Needle coming to share some of his techniques and talk about his work. The meeting will be held at The Art Center in Blue Ridge, GA and you do not need to be a member to attend.

Charles Needle is a Seattle based nature photographer whose works have won him the North American Nature Photography Association (NANPA) Showcase Award 4 years in a row. He is the author of a brand new e-book titled Creative Macro Photography: Professional Tips and Techniques and a workshop leader whose workshops have attracted many students from all over the country. His work has been published in magazines, calendars and are in public and private collections worldwide.
