Fire and Ice Sculpting

Ice SculptingCome on out to the Downtown Blue Ridge City Park on February 19, 2011 for the Fire and Ice Chili Cookoff and Ice Sculpting event. Watch professional ice carvers as they demonstrate their artistic skills from 11 AM to 3 PM. Kids will enjoy watching them carve their names in the ice or help them with abstract ice sculptures of their own. The chili cookoff is open to individuals, restaurants, and civic organizations and will go on from 1 PM to 4 PM. You can be a taster of many chili recipes for just $5. Be entertained by the music of local talent as well as some surprise entertainers alongside the Blue Ridge Scenic Railway. It should be an afternoon to remember. For more information and details, visit the Blue Ridge Business Assoc. at blueridgega.com.
