I am handicapped ,can’t walk more than 20 feet without gasping for air. On my arrival at the Taste of Blue Ridge I was stopped by a parking attendant I told him my problem, he was not help full at all. I then pulled into an area that had several more attendants and explained my problem and that I was handicapped I was then told to park and the shuttle bus would take me in. I thought that was great problem solved. No not really the bus dropped me off over 200 feet from the entrance. I tried to walk to the entrance but couldn’t make it so I turned around and went back to my car and left. The state of Ga. Requires at least 4 handicap parking spaces for an event like this. I will complain to the State of Ga.. To top it off my business had a display in the tent and I was not allowed to attend. My business has participated in this event over the years , needless to say I was very disappointed that I could not attend.
