Live Music is Better with Ronny Cox

A well known actor and singer/songwriter, Ronny Cox along with Radoslav  Lorkovic and Karen Mal will be performing at the Blue Ridge Community Theater in Blue Ridge, Georgia on March 31, 2012 as part of the Live Music is Better concert series. Ronny Cox made his film debut in the movie “Deliverance” and played guitar in Dueling Banjos from that movie. 2012 marks the 40th anniversary of “Deliverance” and Mr. Cox has written a book recounting his experiences of filming the movie. Pre-release copies of the book will be available at this very special performance. Ronny Cox has had a successful career in film and TV and also enjoys singing and songwriting. He spends about half of his time acting and the other half performing his music in folk festivals, concert venues, and small theaters.

Live Music is Better Series

The Blue Ridge Community Theater is bringing live music shows to Blue Ridge, Georgia in the Live Music is Better music series. Coming up on February 24, 2012 is the rockin’ soul filled vocals of Michelle Malone. This talented musician has taken her religious roots, blended in rock, country-blues and folk music along with an acoustic slide, electric blues and explosive vocals to create her own gritty sound. With a career spanning over 20 years, she has performed with many noted artists as well as winning and being nominated for many awards.
