About Blue Ridge

Blue Ridge, GA, incorporated in 1887, is a quaint little town set in the Appalachian Mountains, covering 2.17 square miles. When visiting, there are a wide variety of things to do.

Lake Blue Ridge is just one of the many places where you can spend a fun day swimming, boating, or fishing with the family.

For those of you who prefer shopping and dining, there are a number of antique and specialty shops, art galleries, and restaurants to choose from. There is also a nice scenic railroad on which you can ride and see the beautiful scenery of North Georgia. The train has a short layover in the towns of McCaysville, Georgia and Copperhill, Tennessee where you can enjoy the shops and restaurants while you are there.
